Exciting 3 days kayak adventures along the northern coast of the Golfo Dulce. This tour combines sports and adventure, offering a wide range of activities over multiple days. The package ensures a close encounter with nature. Our guides have extensive experience in kayaking and biology within this area of expertise.
The first meeting point is at ATGD's operations base to discuss safety and provide all the basic information about the trip itinerary, route, and activities.
We start from Puerto with a journey to Bahía de Rincón, where the kayaking adventure begins as described below.
Day 1: (breakfast, lunch, dinner, accommodation) Transportation from Puerto Jiménez to Rincón. On this day, the kayaking distance is approximately 18 km. There are small islands near the camping site where you can paddle to explore, fish, or snorkel. Camping takes place at Playitas in Mogos.
Day 2: (breakfast, lunch, dinner, accommodation) Start paddling early (7 am) after breakfast. Paddling from Playitas to San Josecito covers around 22 km. Along the way to San Josecito, you pass through the Esquinas mangrove forest, part of the Piedras Blancas National Park. Overnight camping at San Josecito.
Day 3: (Breakfast, lunch) Paddle from San Josecito to Puerto Jiménez. Travel across Golfo Dulce to return to ATGD's base. Here, it's possible to shower, change, and relax before our final lunch together.
