When Don Alberto Robleto Herrera and Marielos Villalobos Madrigal settled in Puerto Jiménez, the vision was clear, but the equipment was missing. Imported kayaks were expensive and, crucially, not designed for the delicate nature of the Golfo Dulce and its mangroves.

Our answer was innovation: Don Alberto, with Marielos’ help, drew upon his nautical roots to build the solution. With dedication, he created our fleet of fiberglass kayaks—vessels handcrafted, conceived, and perfected in Osa.

Our team of family guides combines a lifetime of experience with the most rigorous credentials. With us, you are guaranteed maximum safety and expert knowledge.

• Don Alberto Robleto Herrera (Founder & Artisan): Over 30 years paddling the Golfo Dulce. He is an ACA Certified Kayak Instructor and PADI Rescue Diver. He brings unsurpassed knowledge of the mangrove ecosystem and local history.

• Alberto Robleto Villalobos (Guide & Technician): Born and raised in the business, he kayaked before he walked. He is an ACA Kayak Instructor and PADI Rescue Diver, with additional certifications in navigation and rescue. His passion for the environment is absolute.

• Laura Robleto Villalobos (Environmental Engineer): Our conservationist force. She brings professional expertise to ensure the sustainability of our operation and guides with a deep ecological understanding of the area.

• Adriana Robleto Villalobos (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine): One of our original guides. Her expertise and passion for wildlife care continue to define the ethics and respect with which we observe the fauna on every tour.

• Tamar (Guide & Safety Specialist): With 12 years of experience paddling and training, he is a PADI Advanced Diver. He ensures every adventure is backed by local history and rigorous safety protocols.

• Marielos Villalobos Madrigal (Base Guardian): The heart of the company. She is the administrator who keeps us united and provides constant oversight of our excursions. Her weather monitoring and responsiveness guarantee operational safety at all times.
